Hello, and welcome to Aśka's website!
My name is Aśka, and I am an energetic visual storyteller, comic maker and science communicator. I’m also a passionate advocate of visual literacy.

I make stuff, I explode stuff and I share my love of science and story with audiences across Australia and beyond. I’ve been a stage performer, a festival director, a teleportation researcher, a gallery exhibitor and the subject of an ABC TV documentary.
My role as a mentor to migrant children developed into a career as a science communicator, seeing me travel across the WA outback as part of a roving science theatre. Since then, I’ve taught health in Ghana, run illustration workshops in the United Arab Emirates, and shared hands-on science experiments in prisons. I’m an active member and volunteer in loads of local Literature and Comics organisations, a wannabe BMX bandit, and a bread connoisseur.
